I am passionate, loyal, caring, emotional, stubborn, anxious, competitive, intelligent, artistic, spiritual, and loving.

I have an appreciation for all life, however small.

I love my boyfriend, my family, my friends, my cat, my dog.

The Artist:

There never was a time that I remember not loving art. I've taken pictures and turned them into charcoal or pastel drawings. I fingerpaint, do crafts, knit, sew, as well as finer arts as photography, graphite, charcoal, pastels, and recently starting working with oil pastels. Check out Wet Canvas.

The Photographer:

Photography is my passion. It's a medium with which I feel I can truly express myself. I'm hoping to build up my portfolio to include more people/portraits. Mostly, I love taking photos of things people normally would overlook and making it beautiful. Subjects include strangers, candids, architecture, urban decay, etc.

The Patient:

I live in constant daily chronic pain. I've seen more doctors than I have friends and only in May '08, at 25 years old, did I finally find a diagnosis; Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Having a chronic, progressive debilitating disease has been a roller-coaster. I'm hoping to take my experiences to spread awareness for chronic illnesses and disabilities, support causes to find cures and better treatment.

The Advocate:

I am currently involved with an advicacy group here in Rhode Island through an Independent Living organization called PARI. The group is called Personal Choice Advisory Panel (PCAP). We meet monthly and discuss ways to help people dealing with chronic illnesses etc, live more independently.

I also have a channel on YouTube where I talk about my life with a chronic illness and how I live and deal with it on a daily basis. Read more in the Chronic Illness section of this site.
